Bracknell Healthspace

NELCO was contacted by the UK’s BAM Construction to erect two Linac vaults for the NHS at the Bracknell Healthspace. For this project the NHS chose to use NELCO’s MegaShield™, an innovative modular vault system. Because the MegaShield™ blocks come pre-cured, the vault construction time was reduced dramatically to only four weeks. Currently the general contractor is completing all finish work at the facility, which is set to open sometime in early 2011.
