NELCO RECEIVES ISO 9001:2008 CERTIFICATION

BOSTON, Massachusetts – NELCO, the worldwide leader in specialized products and services for the medical, industrial, and construction fields, has just received ISO 9001:2008 certification for their commitment to quality in every aspect of the company. 

“Since NELCO started in the 1930’s, we have maintained a strong focus on providing superior products in all of our diverse markets,” said President and CEO Rick LeBlanc, “we are honored to have achieved this status of certification, and will uphold all of our quality standards.”

To achieve this certification, NELCO had to undergo a strict audit by IMS International.  Through these audits, ISO measured NELCO’s effectiveness of customer focus, leadership, employee involvement, system management approach, continual improvement, and supplier relationships.  

Previously NELCO had achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification.
